Meanwhile, Alan Carr’s chances have dwindled after a string of close calls during recent banishment ceremonies.

“Alan’s charm and humour have carried him far, but the Faithfuls are clearly onto him now,” wrote one fan on Twitter. “If he survives another round table, it’ll be a miracle.”
