😱 I’m A Celebrity Kick-Off: Stars Parachute onto Gold Coast Beach as Ant & Dec Oversee Dramatic Entrance

I’m a Celebrity 2025

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is officially back, and the 25th series has launched with its signature dose of high-octane drama. A group of confirmed contestants was spotted laughing and joking on Australia's Gold Coast beach immediately after completing a dramatic parachute stunt, marking their spectacular entry into the jungle experience. Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were seen looking on from a high vantage point, resembling a jungle castle, as the celebrities made their landing (The Mirror).

The visible group included model and presenter Kelly Brook, former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, comedian Eddie Kadi, Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, and rapper Aitch. An insider told The Mirror that the group seemed to be “getting on really well with each other despite presumably having only just met. They are clearly all bonding all very quickly this year.”

The Full Line-Up and Absent Stars

While the show is set to return this Sunday, November 16th (Radio Times), not all the confirmed stars were present for the beach landing. The full line-up for the 25th series is one of the most star-studded in years, featuring:

  • Shona McGarty (Former EastEnders actress)

  • Kelly Brook (Model and TV Personality)

  • Martin Kemp (Spandau Ballet star/Actor)

  • Eddie Kadi (Comedian/Radio Presenter)

  • Aitch (Rapper)

  • Alex Scott (Former Lioness/Football Pundit)

  • Lisa Riley (Emmerdale actress)

  • Ruby Wax (Comedian/TV Legend)

  • Jack Osbourne (TV Personality/Son of Ozzy Osbourne)

  • Vogue Williams (Model/Presenter)

  • Angry Ginge (Social Media Star)

The stars absent from the dramatic beach landing likely entered the camp via an alternative route, a common tactic used by the show's producers to create multiple opening challenges and narratives (Digital Spy).

Emotional Goodbyes and Family Support

The days leading up to the launch have been filled with emotional airport goodbyes.

  • Martin Kemp, following in the footsteps of his son Roman Kemp (who finished third in 2019), admitted he would miss his family most, saying he wants to enjoy the experience and “not take things too seriously.” Martin’s entry is particularly poignant as Roman is widely known for having been voted into multiple trials after his father jokingly tweeted to make him "eat kangaroo anus" (Cosmopolitan).

  • Former Lioness Alex Scott shared a deeply moving farewell with her girlfriend, singer Jess Glynne. Scott admitted: “I already miss her, this will be the longest we've been apart since we've been together.” She described the experience as a “test” for their relationship, but noted that Glynne strongly encouraged her to accept the challenge (Wales Online). Scott, who describes herself as being quite shy, hopes the jungle will help her overcome her reluctance to “speak out around all of the different and big personalities” (Manchester Evening News).

  • Comedian Eddie Kadi also spoke of his emotional separation, saying he would deeply miss his eight-year-old daughter while in the jungle.

Major Rule Shake-Up for Bushtucker Trials

To ensure the 25th series is unforgettable, producers have implemented a major rule change regarding the infamous Bushtucker Trials. Viewers will no longer be able to vote for a contestant to face trials consecutively for more than two days in a row.

An ITV spokesperson confirmed the new rule: “After a celebrity has been voted for TWO trials in a row, they cannot be voted for one on the next day.” This change comes after previous series saw certain contestants, like Dean McCullough (2024) and Helen Flanagan (2012), subjected to multiple consecutive trials, leading to fan complaints about repetition and the unequal distribution of camp responsibility. The new rule aims to give all campmates a “fairer shot at screen time” and ensure the responsibility for winning food is “shared among more of the campmates” (Radio Times).
