Kerry Katona has revealed that she is currently recovering from corrective breast surgery after being placed on strict medical rest. The former Atomic Kitten star, 45, shared in her exclusive weekly column that she was forced to undergo another operation this month after rupturing tissue around her implants — a complication she openly admits happened because she didn’t allow herself enough time to heal following her previous surgery.

Just days after completing her UK tour with longtime friend Katie Price, Kerry found herself once again in a hospital gown. Earlier this year, in August, she underwent a breast uplift along with new implants. Despite initially feeling pleased with the results, the busy mother of five returned to her normal routine far too quickly, leading to the setback that doctors have now addressed. Kerry is now focusing on resting, healing, and following medical advice carefully.

Throughout the ordeal, she says her boyfriend Paolo has been a constant pillar of strength. The pair, who have been happily building their blended family — Kerry’s five children and Paolo’s two daughters — are preparing for what will be their first Christmas together.

First Christmas with Paolo

“This year is my first Christmas with Paolo and his daughters, and all of my children will be there too, so it’s going to be a really special one,” Kerry shared. For her, the holiday isn’t about gifts but about connection: “It’s all about spending time together — that’s where the magic is. Being with the people you love is the present in itself.”

Kerry has enlisted her go-to decorators, Decorators For Christmas, to transform her home once again. She’s embraced a variety of themes over the years — including a bold Grinch-inspired look — but this time she’s opting for a classic Home Alone aesthetic, aiming for warmth and nostalgia as the entire family gathers under one roof.

Resting up after surgery

Because of her recent procedure, Kerry says she has intentionally slowed down. “I haven’t been up to much this week in terms of work because I’ve been under doctor’s orders to rest,” she explained. She admitted that her initial implant recovery earlier this year didn’t go as planned because she rushed back into her packed schedule too soon.

She praised Paolo for being by her side through every stage of this latest surgery. “Paolo has been so supportive and amazing throughout my surgery and recovery. He was there when I went down for the operation and when I woke up. I really do love that man!”

Kerry also expressed heartfelt concern for Davina McCall, who recently revealed her breast cancer diagnosis. “I’m sending lots of love to Davina after her diagnosis and surgery. Thank God she managed to get diagnosed early,” she said. Kerry added that Davina’s openness — particularly following her brain tumour ordeal last year — makes her an inspiring figure. “She’s helping other women by speaking out. I want to send her big hugs and a big well done for raising awareness during such a scary time.”

Reacting to news from the jungle, Kerry weighed in on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! introducing a new rule: campmates can now only be voted into Bushtucker Trials a maximum of two times consecutively. “I think it’s great — it means we’ll get to know all the stars better and gives everyone a fair chance to take part,” she said. With many fans streaming episodes rather than watching live, Kerry believes producers are right to keep things fresh. “I love the jungle. I’ll be glued to the series at home with my kids — and plenty of snacks!”

While she continues to recover and limit outside work, Kerry says she has turned her attention to creating more online content. “I’m at home recovering, so I’m working on my OnlyFans more than ever.
