Peter Andre launches major project with wife Emily – ‘it’s very special’

Peter Andre has shared new details about an exciting joint venture with his wife, Dr. Emily Andre, while also giving his thoughts on the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! — the show that helped catapult him back into the spotlight two decades ago. Now 52, the singer and TV personality says he’s ready to tune in again and has already chosen the contestant he’ll be rooting for.

Andre first took part in the ITV reality series in 2004, where he became a fan favourite and famously began a relationship with fellow campmate Katie Price. With the brand-new season approaching and ITV officially confirming the full line-up, Peter says he knows exactly who he hopes will go far this year. At the same time, his eldest children, Princess and Junior, have openly expressed interest in joining the show themselves — something Peter admits he’s thought about carefully.

Backing Jack Osbourne

Peter says he admires all of the celebrities heading into the jungle this season, but one contestant stands out above the rest: Jack Osbourne.

“I like all the stars in this year’s series of I’m A Celeb, but I think Jack Osbourne is a really interesting addition,” he explained. “He’s just gone through the ultimate grief — not only losing his beloved father but also someone the whole country loved. It’s very brave of him.”

Peter believes the emotional intensity of the jungle might even end up being healing for Jack. “Subconsciously, he might be doing the show for a bit of therapy because you’re away from everything — it’s just you and nature. Some people think the crew brings you food or gives you help on the side, but it’s actually a very real experience.”

Having met Jack several times, Peter says he finds him warm, grounded, and genuine. “I’m really rooting for him. He’s lovely, and I really want him to do well. But to be fair, there are a lot of big personalities in there this year.”

Princess and Junior in the jungle?

Peter also addressed the growing possibility that his eldest children — Princess, 17, and Junior, 19 — might take part in the series in the near future. Both have said publicly that they’d love the experience, and Peter thinks they have what it takes.

“I’ve always told them they’d be great,” he said. “I’ve also said that with most reality shows, it might be better if they were presenters instead of contestants — but I’m A Celeb is a good idea. They’d be brilliant in there together!”

As a former campmate with insider knowledge, Peter offered one crucial piece of advice. “If they were to go into the jungle, my top tip would be to acclimatise beforehand and not eat loads before going in — because they’re going to starve you in there. I learnt that lesson very quickly!”

Theo’s birthday surprise

This week, Peter and Emily are also celebrating a family milestone. Their son Theo is turning nine, and the pair have prepared something unforgettable.

“It’s our beautiful Theo’s 9th birthday this week! We’ve got something really amazing planned for him,” Peter said. “We want to make it really special. He’s such a good, loving boy. I can’t wait to tell you about it next week — I can’t just yet, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise!”

A strict stance on processed food

Peter also opened up about their parenting style at home — particularly their firm approach when it comes to food choices.

“Emily and I try very hard not to give our children any processed food,” he said. “I have to give her full credit for that — I may have been a bit more relaxed if it were just me!”

Although both parents cook regularly and keep meals homemade, Peter admits he’s more lenient when it comes to treats. “I’m a bit easier with chocolate. That said, Emily relaxes on chocolate too, because kids need to have fun. She’s definitely stricter than I am about soft drinks.”

He added that every parent approaches things differently. “There’s no right or wrong as long as you’re doing what you think is best for your children.”

A major joint project on the way

Looking ahead, Peter revealed that while he has several solo ventures planned for 2026, he and Emily are also working on something together — and it’s significant.

“Although I have some major solo projects launching in 2026, Emily and I are having exciting meetings about working together,” he shared. “We’ve got something very special lined up, and we’ll be able to say more soon.”

With the year coming to a close, he admits things are moving quickly but says the future feels positive. “There’s so much happening next year — I’m like, ‘Woah!’ But we’re going to have lots of fun, so watch this space.”
