Sydney Sweeney and Ex-Fiancé Jonathan Davino Share Tense Late-Night Reunion Amid Dating Rumours with Scooter Braun

Actress Sydney Sweeney and her former fiancé Jonathan Davino allegedly encountered one another in a late-night meeting this past Saturday in Los Angeles — and by all accounts the meeting was far from friendly, occurring while Sweeney is reportedly enjoying a new chapter with music executive Scooter Braun. 

According to photos acquired by Page Six, the 28-year-old Sweeney was seen entering the passenger side of a car driven by Davino on Saturday night.  As the former couple drove to her house, she was captured shielding her face with her hand from view. A source near Sweeney’s home later told TMZ that Sweeney shouted at Davino, “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.” 

Earlier in the evening, Sweeney had enjoyed a private dinner with friends at the Santa Monica hotspot Giorgio Baldi, during which she watched the Los Angeles Dodgers defeat the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series with a 5-4 victory just before midnight local time.  After the game, she left the restaurant in an Uber, drove a short distance, and then pulled up next to Davino’s vehicle for the brief car ride home. 

At the dinner, she wore a brown leather jacket, denim shorts and brown suede boots — an informal, decidedly relaxed look compared with her recent red carpet appearances. 

Their reunion comes amid Sweeney’s reported blossoming relationship with Braun. Sources told People that Sweeney and Braun are “casually hooking up” and that she’s “living her life and working hard.”  Another insider revealed Braun had been “obsessed” with Sweeney following their meeting at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Italy in June, and that he had been “pursuing” her ever since. 

Despite the late-night outing with Davino, Sweeney is reportedly “fully moved on” from him and has no intention of rekindling their engagement. According to People, a source says: “He still asks to see her and she has when she’s had the time, but she’s never getting back together with him. She just wants to move on now.” Sweeney and Davino ended their seven-year relationship earlier this year after announcing their engagement in 2022.

In short, this late-night encounter underscores the complex emotional terrain Sweeney is navigating — torn between a past long-relationship and a new chapter focused on both personal freedom and career. While the outing might raise eyebrows, all signs indicate Sweeney remains firmly focused on her own trajectory.
