Timothée Chalamet hints at major next step in Kylie Jenner relationship in tight-lipped interview

In a cover interview with Vogue published Thursday, the actor Timothée Chalamet hinted at the next chapter in his notoriously private relationship with Kylie Jenner, while still maintaining his characteristic discretion. The Wonka star, who has been linked with Jenner since early 2023, acknowledged that he doesn’t “have anything to say” about the romance—not out of fear, but simply because he prefers to keep the details private. A Family Future on the Horizon

While he declined to comment on the specifics of his relationship, Chalamet did open up about larger life milestones, suggesting that starting a family may be “on the radar.” He told Vogue that he found the idea of avoiding parenthood altogether—“bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them to do other stuff”—to be “bleak.”

The actor referenced the milestones of close peers, noting that his Dune co-stars Zendaya and Anya Taylor-Joy are now engaged or married. These developments, he said, have made him reflect on his own life stage.

Privacy, Not Silence

On the topic of his relationship with Kylie Jenner (28), Chalamet (29) was clear:

“I don’t say that with any fear, I just don’t have anything to say.”
Jenner, who shares two children (Stormi and Aire) with ex-partner Travis Scott, has also spoken about the value of discretion, telling British Vogue that: “Privacy is so important to me in life… Being able to keep some things to myself now ‘feels so good’.”

A Relationship Played Out in Selective Public Moments

Though the couple rarely comment publicly on their relationship, their appearances together have been carefully curated:

  • The pair made waves when Jenner’s vehicle was seen parked outside Chalamet’s Beverly Hills residence in 2023.

  • They went red-carpet official in May 2025 at the 70th David di Donatello Awards in Rome, marking one of their more visible joint appearances.

  • Recent outings include the New York Film Festival premiere of Chalamet’s forthcoming film Marty Supreme and a booth-side moment at a New York Yankees game.

Why It Matters

For Chalamet, who has long maintained control of his narrative—even as one of Hollywood’s most talked-about young actors—the clear message is that while love and long-term goals may be part of his future, the stage for those conversations isn’t the headlines. “You don’t have to be selfish to be great,” he said in the interview, referencing his belief that professional achievement and personal life needn’t be mutually exclusive.
