Ha Jung-woo responds to marriage rumors: 'Just my father's wishful thinking'
Recently, the actor's father revealed that he will get married at the end of this year or early next year. However, Ha Jung Woo denied this information.
"That's just my father's wish. I don't have any plans yet," the actor shared on JtBC's Newsroom program.
Recently, Ha Jung Woo's younger brother got married and had a child. He admitted that when he saw his nephew, he felt the desire to have his own family. However, this is not something that can be achieved just by wishing.
During the conversation, Ha Jung Woo also talked about his walking habit. "I think I walk to clear my mind. We often worry too much about things that haven't happened yet. Going out for a walk helps me relax and clear my mind."
When asked about his illustrious acting career, he said: "I admire the artist Picasso. He always tried his best and also had more achievements than any other artist. If we know how to plan and work hard to complete it, success is inevitable. However, I think I was very lucky because God, the audience and everyone around me recognized my efforts."
Looking back at the characters he has played, Ha Jung Woo revealed that he wants to be like Jo Byung Woon in My Dear Enemy (2008). "I like the way he handles problems, if I can look at the world with optimistic eyes like Jo Byung Woon, I can overcome any difficulties."
In addition to acting, Ha Jung Woo is also passionate about painting and is preparing for a solo exhibition in October. "When I paint, I try not to think too much, mainly relying on natural emotions. What I care about most is the composition and color of the painting. Lately, I tend to like orange tones," the actor said.
Finally, he expressed his admiration for his two idols, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino: "Even though they are in their 80s, their passion and determination are still extraordinary. Looking at them, I always wonder how long I can act."
