Sharon Cuneta makes teleserye comeback via ABS-CBN

Sharon Cuneta gears up for her teleserye comeback on ABS-CBN: "I promise that I will give my best to this project. Especially since I took a break from TV for two years so I'm really excited."

ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment have formally announced the return of Megastar Sharon Cuneta to the Kapamilya network to star in her comeback teleserye.

This Thursday, July 3, 2024, Dreamscape Entertainment posted on social media photos and videos of Sharon when she went to the ABS-CBN studio in Sgt.Esguerra Avenue corner Mother Ignacia Street, Diliman, Quezon City.

He was greeted by ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes, Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and Dreamscape heads Kylie Manalo-Balagtas and Rondel Lindayag.

Their caption reads, "Welcome home, MEGA STAR - Ms. Sharon Cuneta! We missed you, Kapamilya!"

SHARON'S COMEBACK AFTER A TWO-YEAR BREAK
Although there are no other details about Sharon's teleserye, the Megastar admitted that he is just now getting excited about the run and the outcome of his comeback series.

In addition, he is also excited about the people he will be with.

"It's been excitement, joy, I'm overwhelmed, I'm happy, I'm thrilled.

"I'm very, very excited to work with the people I'm going to work with.

"The other one, to work with again, I really love. You won't be surprised when you find out.

"As for the others, it's my first time to be with them. So, really, my heart is bursting with excitement and joy.

"More than anything, it's me being back in my home station, it's being with Kapamilya, it's just being home," Sharon said in her interview with ABS-CBN On Cue.

Megastar made a promise to his fans waiting for his return: "I promise that I will give my best to this project.

"Especially since I took a break from TV for two years so I'm really excited."

Sharon decided to take a short break from acting to prioritize her health, especially when she suffered a hip injury.

He said, "I rested, because I have problems with my hip, my back.

"So, for two or three months this year, the beginning of the year, I can't have many activities, I'm almost bedridden.'

Although there are days when it attacks and it still hurts, Sharon assures that he is okay and he is ready to participate in the taping again.

He said, "Health matters but it's manageable now."

Sharon's last teleserye was in 2022 when she was included in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Aside from the teleserye, he also made a movie in 2023, Family of Two, with Kapuso actor Alden Richards. This film was a participant in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023.

At the time of writing this article, no details have yet been released as to when Megastar's comeback teleserye will air and who his co-stars will be.
