Why do Indians absolutely not eat beef and pork?
Therefore, Hinduism forbids eating beef products or doing anything that is abusive or harmful to cows. When you come to India, you will be surprised to see many temples that worship cows.
Why don't Muslims eat pork?
Not only in the Koran of Islam but also in the Bible of Christians, eating or preparing food from pork is prohibited.
“In what has been revealed, we do not find a prohibition on eating anything except dead bodies, fresh blood, or the flesh of pigs, because they are unclean; or food that has not been properly processed, or has been sacrificed to anyone other than Allah.”
And pigs, because they have hooves but are not ruminants, are unclean. Therefore, they should not be eaten or touched.
God has given a prohibition on all things that are harmful to humans (such as alcohol, beer, cigarettes, and even pork).
Pork is the cause of more than 70 different diseases, the most common of which are intestinal worms. The most dangerous is Taenia solium, also known as tapeworm.
The digestive system of pigs is considered quite fast compared to other livestock (it only takes 4 hours to digest, so the process of excreting toxins from the pig's food is also much shorter and less effective. In addition, pigs do not have any sweat glands, which is the reason why pathogens are stored and developed in their fatty tissues, blood and meat.
Pigs are also omnivorous and they are used to living in muddy, dirty environments. This makes pork much less hygienic than other animals.
The last reason is the sexual instinct of pigs. This is the only animal that tends to exchange sexual partners as an inherent attribute. Morally, this action is unacceptable in Islam.
