150 skeletons discovered at the scene

The leader of the People's Committee of Dong Da District (Hanoi) said that during the construction of technical infrastructure in Lane 167 Tay Son, workers discovered many sets of remains at a depth of about 1 meter, the authorities requested the units to temporarily stop construction pending a solution. As of November 21, the units have identified nearly 150 sets of remains in Lane 167 Tay Son.

Residents living in Alley 167 said this was not the first time human remains had been discovered in this area. Previously, human remains were discovered every time infrastructure projects were constructed or house foundations were dug.

Currently, the drainage project in lane 167 Tay Son is temporarily suspended. The project is carefully fenced off by the authorities to ensure the safety of people traveling in the lane.
