DIY Rice Serum for Radiant Glowing Skin

DIY Rice Serum

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera Gel – 2 tablespoons (Hydrates and soothes the skin, promoting healing.)
  • Glycerin – 1 teaspoon (It acts as a humectant, which helps draw moisture into the skin and prevents scaly dry skin.)
  • Tea Tree Essential Oil – 3-4 drops (Known for its anti-inflammatory and anti microbial properties, it is great for acne-prone skin.)
  • Rice Powder – 1/2 teaspoon (Gently exfoliates, brightens the skin, and helps absorb excess oil.)

Instructions:

Step 1. Prepare the Base:
In a small bowl, combine the Aloe Vera Gel and Glycerin. Stir well until they are fully blended together.

Step 2. Add the Tea Tree Oil:

Add 3-4 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil to the mixture. Mix well. 

Step 3. Add Rice Powder:
Slowly add Rice Powder to the blend, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. The rice powder will help give the serum a thicker consistency and provide gentle exfoliation.

Step 4. Mix Until Smooth:

Stir the mixture thoroughly until it reaches a smooth, runny creamy texture.

Step 5. Store:
Transfer the serum into a clean glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Store it in a cool, dry place, and keep it refrigerated for added freshness. It should last for about 1-2 weeks.

 

How to Use:

  • After cleansing your face, apply a small amount of the serum to your face, gently massaging it in an upward circular motion.
