ITV Big Brother housemates suffer brutal blow just hours before live double eviction

Big Brother's Nancy
Two favourites in the house of Big Brother UK are poised to make a dramatic exit tonight. In a surprise twist, producers have confirmed that a double eviction will take place on Friday 7 November, with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best preparing to announce which two housemates failed to secure sufficient public support.

On Thursday 6 November’s episode of ITV’s flagship reality series, it was revealed that housemates Nancy Nocerino, Caroline Monk and Jenny Baird are all facing the vote and are in danger of being evicted.

According to bookmaker Coral, Nancy is the odds-on favourite to depart next, with odds of 1-4. Caroline follows at 3-1, while Jenny is considered the safest bet to remain at 8-1. As Coral’s spokesperson John Hill commented:

“Nancy survived Tuesday night’s firework-display eviction, but our betting suggests her time in the house will come crashing down with a bang tonight, as she is odds-on to go first.” – (source: Mirror)
Hill added:
“Caroline is likely to be the second housemate to go, with Jenny having the best chance of surviving for the final week.”

With the series speeding towards its climax, the grand finale of Big Brother 2025 is just around the corner. The eighth series of the rebooted show will see the champion crowned on Friday 14 November. According to Radio Times, the final will air from 9:00 pm until 10:35 pm, followed by spin-off shows Big Brother Live and Live until 11:35 pm.

This current edition of Big Brother has captivated the nation for six intense weeks, featuring a whirlwind of arguments, evictions, strategic gameplay, twists and turns that have kept viewers glued to their screens. Earlier this week, housemate Sam Ashby left the house in a Bonfire Night twist, leaving just ten contestants battling it out in the inner sanctum. While some were celebrating housemate Teja Dalphy’s birthday and the fireworks, viewers at home were busy casting their votes, deciding whether Nancy or Sam would leave. Emotions ran high as Sam bid farewell to best friend Nancy, and Caroline was visibly moved.

Additional context & industry commentary

Double evictions have become a key dramatic tool in reality-TV formats, helping to accelerate the pace as the show reaches its closing stages. According to Wikipedia, the British version of Big Brother has historically included Fridays as the main eviction day, with a longer episode for the finale.

Moreover, this season has been plagued by some controversy. For example, one report noted that housemate Caroline Monk made a harsh remark about fellow contestant Richard during her departure, calling him “the Antichrist”, which caused audience backlash. Another article reported that the show received over 600 complaints to the broadcasting regulator Ofcom in one week, with many viewers accusing the programme of bullying behaviour and targeting from Caroline towards other contestants.

As the housemates count down the days and the voting intensifies, tonight’s double eviction is sure to raise the stakes and set the tone for the final week. With Nancy and Caroline the favourites to go, and Jenny tipped to hang on, fans will be watching closely for the big announcement.
