Psychic who suffered near-death experience reveals shocking truth about the afterlife

A psychic has detailed about afterlife after claiming to have experienced the feeling "dea@th" four times.

Amie Balesky, a self-described psychic and spiritual medium with over three million followers on TikTok, has once again captivated her audience-this time with an intensely personal account of her latest near-d:eath experience (NDE). Balesky, who claims to have been “helping spirits and people since 1995,” took to her platform to share what she described as a profound encounter with the afterlife following a life-threatening medical crisis caused by a brain infection.

During the harrowing episode, Balesky was undergoing a complex spinal procedure when her body went into shock. According to her, her condition deteriorated rapidly while on the operating tabled:eath, prompting doctors and nurses to enter a state of panic as they fought to stabilize her.

A Vivid Moment of Crossing Over

What sets this account apart from typical medical stories is what Balesky says happened next. While lying on her side, she remembers watching the heart monitor as the numbers began to fall sharply. That’s when everything around her shifted.

"I stopped caring about what was going on around me and the feelings I had were more 'in'," she told her viewers on TikTok. As the chaos in the operating room unfolded, she recalled that everything became inexplicably quiet.

"I could see it, I couldn't hear it anymore... silent. And all of a sudden, out of nowhere, without any feeling, transition or anything like that, I notice that my vision or what I was seeing [was] beginning to drift to a different perspective - it was drifting up. I was looking down. All I could feel was love."

She continued, explaining how detached she felt from her physical form. "So I only thought of two things. The first one was, 'Wow, that sucks that that's happening to my body' - I knew that it was my body. Second thing, I could feel how much love I had."

At that moment, all she wanted was to express love to her mother. "[It] was utter bliss. I could see everybody and [had] no pain. [It] was amazing."

Waking Up Two Weeks Later

Her transcendent experience came to an abrupt end when she regained consciousness two weeks later in a hospital bed. Doctors informed her that she had technically died. Though the moment was clinically critical, Balesky describes it as one of the most peaceful and enlightening events of her life.

"So for me, the transition was beautiful. For me, it was peaceful - didn't even recognize that it was happening, and all my pain, anxiety, worries, all of that was gone simply in one breath," she recalled.

What Awaits on the Other Side?

Known online as @TheBalesky, the American psychic offered additional insights about what she believes occurs during the moment of d:eath. According to her, people are often met by either a loved one or a mysterious man. While she didn’t explicitly state that the figure was a religious entity such as Jesus, she acknowledged that many others who have had similar near-d:eath encounters report meeting him or another spiritual being.

Balesky also emphasized that this wasn’t her first brush with d:eath. She revealed that she has experienced four near-d:eath episodes over the years-each one adding, in her words, to the strength of her psychic “superpower.”

No Need to Fear d:eath, She Says

One of her most compelling messages to her followers was a call to rethink their fear of dying. Balesky likened the process to something as mundane and fleeting as bumping into a coffee table.

"Being worried about what it's going to feel like to pass is the equivalent of being worried about if you're going to stub your toe on the coffee table again - it's going to happen, it may hurt just a second, but as soon as it's there, it's gone," she said.

"You keep moving on because you are eternal - you are spirit."

More Than Just a Story-A Message of Reassurance

Her video has resonated with thousands of viewers, many of whom have shared their own experiences in the comments. For some, Balesky’s words have offered a sense of comfort and validation. For others, they’ve sparked curiosity about what may lie beyond this life.

As near-d:eath experiences continue to be studied by researchers and discussed within spiritual circles, stories like Balesky’s add a deeply personal-and emotionally impactful-dimension to the conversation.

While skeptics may attribute her visions to brain chemistry or unconscious perception, many others believe her story is part of a larger spiritual truth-one that speaks to the essence of human consciousness, love, and the eternal soul.

Whether viewed through a scientific or spiritual lens, Balesky’s account offers something rare in today’s digital landscape: a raw, intimate reflection on life, d:eath, and what may await beyond.
