Save this way to clean your helmet

Using a helmet is an important step to ensure traffic safety and compliance with the law. However, when using a helmet in humid tropical conditions, it can increase oil secretion, causing the scalp to sweat more and create favorable conditions for the growth of mold and dandruff, causing itching and discomfort.
To protect the health of the scalp, it is important to clean the helmet properly to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and remove dirt.
1. How to wash a full-face helmet
Instructions on how to clean the helmet visor
The front visor of the helmet not only helps you protect against the sun, rain and dust, but also plays an important role in protecting your vision when moving. After a period of use, this visor often contains a lot of dirt and is blurred due to the effects of steam. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly clean this part.
Step 1: Start by wetting a paper towel in warm water mixed with shampoo. Place the damp paper towel on the outside of the visor to moisten and dissolve stubborn dirt.
Step 2: After leaving the damp towel on the visor for a while, take it out and use a new paper towel to clean the outside.
Step 3: Next, use another paper towel soaked in water and shampoo to gently clean the inside of the visor. Be careful not to rub too hard to avoid damaging protective coatings such as UV protection or anti-fog coating.
Step 4: Use a clean paper towel to gently pat the inside and let it dry naturally. Step 5: Once dry, simply use a polishing compound to clean the outside of the visor and you're done cleaning your helmet.
2. How to Wash a Helmet with a Removable Liner
Cleaning a helmet with a removable liner requires special care. Here are the steps to wash a helmet with a removable liner:
Step 1: Remove the inner lining of the helmet and wash it separately from the shell. Use a washing machine on the Dedicated cycle. Meanwhile, soak the outer shell in a basin of warm water.
Step 2: Add a small amount of detergent to the water to dissolve grease and dirt on the shell. Use a soft brush to scrub the helmet shell from the inside out until the shell is completely clean.
Step 3: After rinsing, use a paper towel to dry the shell and use a little plastic polish to shine the outer shell.
Step 4: Finally, reassemble the inner parts and padding after washing, then attach the visor.
3. How to Wash a Helmet with a Non-Removable Liner
Cleaning a full-face motorcycle helmet that is not removable can be more challenging, so we will work from the inside out.
Step 1: Start by filling a basin with warm water and completely submerging the helmet. Once damp, add a generous amount of shampoo to the water.
Step 2: Use a soft brush to scrub the inside of the helmet, focusing on the parts and accessories. Once you are sure that all dirt has been removed from the inside of the helmet, rinse it by soaking it in a basin of clean water.
Step 3: Next, fill another basin with water and add a mild detergent to remove any dust, engine oil, and rainwater that has accumulated on the outer shell. Use a soft cloth to wipe the shell clean and continue until you are satisfied. Repeat the process of rinsing the helmet in warm water to clean it.
Step 4: Use a dry paper towel to wipe the outside surface of the helmet clean and use a polishing resin to make it shiny. Finally, reattach the visor, wait for the lining to dry completely, then you can reuse the helmet.
4. How to wash a 3/4 helmet is extremely simple
Similar to a full-face helmet, a 3/4 helmet also requires regular cleaning because the inside of the helmet can grow bacteria and accumulate dirt, affecting your health, especially your hair and scalp.
How to wash a 3/4 helmet is as follows:
Step 1: First, remove the accessories attached to the helmet such as glasses, action cameras and set them aside. Prepare a basin of clean water, add shampoo to create enough foam. Note that the solution should not be too liquid to ensure effective disinfection.
Step 2: Use a spray bottle or nozzle to spray water directly onto the helmet, making sure to spray both the inside and outside of the helmet to completely remove dirt. However, avoid spraying too hard to avoid damaging and scratching the helmet.
Step 3: Place the helmet directly into the soapy water basin you have prepared. Press lightly to ensure the helmet is soaked evenly, especially the inner lining, which often contains a lot of bacteria that can cause scalp problems.
Step 4: Use a toothbrush to gently brush both the inside and outside of the helmet, being careful not to miss any areas and avoid brushing too hard.
Step 5: Continue using the nozzle to spray water onto the helmet, completely removing the shampoo. Continue washing the helmet until there are no more soap bubbles.
Step 6: Let the helmet drain and place it out to dry under the strongest sunlight. If possible, turn the helmet upside down so that the inner lining is directly exposed to the sunlight, helping the water evaporate and the sweat smell to go away quickly. Place a soft towel under the helmet when flipped upside down to aid this process.
Once the helmet is completely dry, reassemble the accessories as they were. This completes the process of cleaning your 3/4 helmet easily and effectively.
5. How to wash a solid helmet
A solid helmet, which cannot be disassembled, is a typical product of many famous brands such as Non Son, Royal... For those who want to know how to wash a Son, Royal helmet, here is a detailed method:
Step 1: Mix detergent with warm water, then use a towel to dip it in to clean the shell of the helmet.
