Seo Ye-ji to Join Hyeri & Song Kang-ho’s Agency, Receive Mix Reactions
According to Star News on the 25th, Sublime recently signed an exclusive contract with actress Seo Ye-ji. After her exclusive contract with Gold Medalist expired in November last year, Seo Ye-ji had been a free agent for a while. Now, she is making a fresh start with Sublime.
Sublime is a company that handles not only entertainment management but also advertising production and agency work for models. It manages actors such as Song Kang-ho, Ko So-young, Yoon Jung-hee, Ki Eun-se, Tiffany Young, Kim Yun-ji, Hani, Kim Jin-kyung, and Hyeri.
Seo Ye-ji, who had taken time off due to various controversies, resumed her SNS activities at the end of April. This sparked rumors that she was looking for a new agency, with many speculating about her contact with Sublime.
Although a representative from Sublime initially denied the contract rumors, stating, “There is no exclusive contract and nothing has been decided,” positive discussions eventually led to contract negotiations progressing rapidly.
Seo Ye-ji had previously faced numerous allegations in April 2021, including gaslighting her ex-boyfriend Kim Jung-hyun, school violence, and falsifying her academic background. She continued her acting career with the tvN drama “Eve” aired in June-July of the following year but faced ongoing criticism.
