
35-Year-Old Man Dubbed the “Modern Dorian Gray” Reveals His Unusual Secrets for Staying Youthful
At first glance, Brandon Miles looks like a teenager. But the man often compared to a “modern Dorian Gray” is actually in his mid-thirties — and his shockingly youthful appearance has earned him more than 48,000 curious followers online.
Brandon attributes his age-defying looks to a highly disciplined lifestyle, strict skincare practices, and a long list of habits he avoids at all costs. His approach may seem extreme to some, but for Brandon, it’s the reason he still looks decades younger than he is.
A Life Lived in the Shade
Brandon considers sun exposure the number one enemy of youthful skin — and he structures his entire lifestyle around avoiding it.
“The sun contributes to 80 to 90 per cent of the visible signs of skin ageing,” he says.
His rule is simple: no direct sunlight, ever.
Whenever he steps outside, he’s fully armed with:
✅ Sunglasses
✅ A wide-brimmed hat
✅ Long sleeves
✅ Generous layers of sunscreen
He treats UV protection as a non-negotiable daily ritual.
The One Drink He Has Never Touched
There’s also one thing Brandon refuses to consume under any circumstance: alcohol.
“I don’t drink alcohol,” he says. “I’ve never had a drink in my life. I made the conscious decision at the age of 13 to never partake in alcoholic beverages.”
He emphasizes he doesn’t judge others for drinking — he simply believes alcohol accelerates aging and harms the skin, hair, and brain.
Brandon also avoids smoking and deliberately stays away from carcinogens that “deplete your indigenous antioxidants.”
Sleep: The Non-Negotiable Beauty Tool
Another pillar of his routine is sleep — a lot of it.
“I get about eight to nine hours every single night,” he says. “Sleep is when the regenerative processes happen in your skin and your body. It increases your melatonin, which is a good thing.”
To him, sleep isn’t a luxury — it’s a biological requirement for staying youthful.
A Diet With Zero Sugar
Brandon follows what he calls a “fairly healthy diet,” but with one notable rule:
❌ No sugar. At all.
He believes sugar contributes heavily to skin aging, so he cut it out entirely. Instead, he fills his meals with nutrient-rich foods like salads, vegetables, healthy fats, and avocados.
Moderate Exercise, Not Intense Training
Unlike many fitness enthusiasts, Brandon avoids “super heavy” workouts. He prefers moderate exercise focused on maintaining strength and hormonal balance.
“I do exercise and make sure that I’m building and maintaining muscle,” he says. “That’s important for balancing out hormones and growth hormone.”
Emotional Health: His Secret Anti-Aging Weapon
Beyond skincare and lifestyle habits, Brandon stresses the importance of mental health.
He practices “gratitude meditation” to reduce stress and anxiety.
“It helps lower the stress hormone cortisol, which is also an ageing hormone,” he explains. “I try to make sure that I’m optimizing my mental and emotional health at all costs.”
The Man Who Looks Half His Age
Brandon’s extreme commitment to wellness has earned him a global following — and endless fascination from people who want to understand how he maintains such a youthful look.
