Kelvin Fletcher and wife Liz share update as they reveal they're expecting 'new arrivals'
It’s officially mating season on the farm — and Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have delighted fans by revealing that their growing agricultural adventure is about to welcome new life. The couple, who star in the ITV series Fletchers’ Family Farm, shared the heartwarming news that their flock is set to expand with the arrival of baby lambs next year.
Kelvin and Liz Fletcher Share Exciting Farm News
Two years ago, former Emmerdale actor and Strictly Come Dancing 2019 champion Kelvin Fletcher, along with his wife Liz and their young family, made a bold lifestyle change. Leaving behind their life in Oldham, they purchased a 120-acre working farm in the Peak District. Since then, they have documented the triumphs and challenges of their rural transformation in their popular ITV documentary series.
Now in its third series, Fletchers’ Family Farm has invited viewers into everything from calving season to mowing hay, and from quiet countryside moments to full-blown farming chaos. Earlier this year, the couple faced one of their toughest challenges yet when a “nightmare” fire ripped through their home while the family was away, forcing them to move out temporarily. Fans expressed concern, but the Fletchers have remained resilient.
Fortunately, the couple confirmed that things are finally “back up and running,” and they’ve bounced back stronger — quite literally expanding their operation.
The Fletchers Prepare for New Arrivals Next Year
Appearing on Lorraine on November 13, Kelvin and Liz gave viewers a cheerful and optimistic update. When asked about how they’ve coped since the devastating fire, Liz shared: “You’ve just got to keep carrying on, and we have done! We’ve expanded on the cows, we’ve expanded on the sheep.”
With lambing season approaching, the family confirmed what viewers had hoped to hear: their sheep are officially expecting, and the farm is preparing for a busy and joyful round of new arrivals next spring. The news marks a significant milestone for the couple, who have immersed themselves in farm life despite having no agricultural background prior to their move.
Kelvin added that the farm’s growth has been both a challenge and a reward, and that the family’s experiences — from rebuilding after the fire to preparing for lambing — have only deepened their appreciation for the farming community. Fans of the show can expect the upcoming season to feature plenty of adorable new lambs, emotional moments, and more of the family’s trademark humour and determination.

With their animals thriving and their farm expanding, the Fletchers continue to embrace country life with enthusiasm — proving once again that their bold transition from city living to farm ownership was more than just a TV storyline; it’s become a full-fledged way of life.
