Missing MH370 aircraft ‘found’ after Google Maps search

Tech expert Ian Wilson has made a bold claim that he discovered the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 using Google Maps. The disappearance of MH370 remains one of the most perplexing aviation mysteries in modern history.
The Day of Disappearance
On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 mysteriously vanished, leaving the world stunned. The flight, which was carrying 239 passengers and crew, was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, China, when it suddenly disappeared from radar, sparking widespread confusion and concern.
A Mystery that Sparked Many Theories
The disappearance of MH370 prompted a flood of documentaries and theories, all attempting to unravel the mystery. The incident gained renewed attention following the release of the Netflix docuseries MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, which explores the many unanswered questions surrounding the flight.
Official Investigations and the Ongoing Enigma
Since the plane’s disappearance, some wreckage has been found, but official investigations led by Australia and Malaysia have not been able to definitively determine what happened. According to the official account, MH370 made a sharp U-turn less than an hour into its flight and then crashed into the ocean. However, this theory has not solved the mystery.
Alternate Theories: Hijacking and Military Involvement
Various experts have suggested alternative scenarios, including the possibility of a hijacking or even the plane being shot down by the U.S. Air Force. Despite these theories, no definitive answers have emerged, and the fate of the flight and its passengers remains unclear.
A New Theory: MH370 in a Cambodian Jungle?
Ian Wilson offers a new perspective, claiming that the remains of MH370 might lie deep within a Cambodian jungle. In an interview with The Mirror, he explained: “Measuring the Google sighting, it’s about 0.04 miles, but there seems to be a gap between the tail and the back of the plane. It’s slightly larger, but that gap might explain the discrepancy.”
A Lengthy Search for Answers
Wilson shared details of his exhaustive search on Google Earth, saying, “I spent hours here and there, searching for places where the plane might have gone down. Eventually, I found it. It’s the greenest, darkest area visible on the map.”
Ongoing Uncertainties Despite Thorough Investigations
Even after the release of a 1,500-page report by investigators, the exact fate of MH370 remains unclear. Theories continue to circulate, keeping the mystery alive.
New Evidence Suggests Criminal Intent
In December of last year, an aviation expert presented a new theory suggesting a deliberate criminal act to ensure the plane’s disappearance. The discovery of MH370’s landing gear door in November, found at a fisherman’s home in Madagascar—over eight years after the plane’s disappearance—has fueled this speculation.
Experts Point to Deliberate Actions
British engineer Richard Godfrey and American MH370 wreckage hunter Blaine Gibson believe that the damage to the landing gear door, known as the trunnion door, suggests that one of the pilots deployed the aircraft’s wheels in the final moments, potentially indicating criminal intent.
The Search for the Truth Continues
Despite new evidence and ongoing investigations, the true fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 remains unknown. Wilson’s theory that the plane lies in a Cambodian jungle adds yet another layer to the mystery, potentially offering a clue that could help solve one of aviation’s greatest enigmas.
