Peter Andre teases ‘special’ project with wife Emily: ‘We are having exciting meetings’

Peter Andre has been a fixture on British television for over 20 years, and it looks like his career is set to continue strong for the foreseeable future. In the latest edition of his New! Magazine column, Planet Pete, he hinted at the possibility of a new project alongside his wife, Emily Andre, suggesting that fans might see a return to “back-to-basics” collaborations from the couple.
Peter and Emily: A New Collaboration on the Horizon
Peter revealed, “Although I have some major solo projects launching in 2026, Emily and I are having exciting meetings about working together. We’ve got something very special lined up, and we’ll let you know more soon.”
He continued, reflecting on his busy schedule: “The end of the year has come around very quickly – and there’s so much happening next year, I’m like, ‘Woah!’ But we’re going to have lots of fun, so watch this space” (New! Magazine).
While the exact nature of the project is still under wraps, insiders suggest it could be a mix of reality TV and family-focused content, showcasing their professional and personal lives together (Mirror Online).
Princess Diaries Feud with Katie Price
This news comes in the wake of renewed tensions with Katie Price over the ITV2 series The Princess Diaries, which featured Peter and Emily but not Katie. Katie addressed her frustrations on her podcast, explaining, “There’s no reason why both parents just can’t be there to support her. Now, this isn’t about me. I have to clarify this. I don’t care that I’m not in Princess’ show… I do enough stuff” (The Sun).
She added that her main concern is being present for her children: “All what I want to do, is just whatever my daughter does, and it’s the same with Junior. I don’t care if I’m in the background, but I want to watch her do her photo shoots, I wanna watch her do her signings, because that’s what I did. And I just wanna be there with her because I know I’ve missed out on so much.”
The disagreements reportedly intensified over the summer, leaving fans divided about the family dynamics (Daily Mail).
Peter and Emily Step Back from Season 2
Amid the tensions, sources confirmed that Peter and Emily will not return for season two of The Princess Diaries. One insider told The Sun, “Basically, Princess’s big moment was overshadowed by her rowing parents. It definitely took the shine off her. ITV wanted to see if they could come to an agreement where neither party would be involved.”
The source continued, “Pete was aggrieved but naturally said he would do what is best for Princess. She loves both her parents so much and never wants them to row.”
Although fans may be disappointed by their absence, this decision ensures Princess Andre’s milestones remain the focus of the show (Hello! Magazine).
Looking Ahead
Despite the Princess Diaries drama, Peter and Emily’s hinted collaboration has generated excitement. The couple, married for ten years, is known for blending professional and personal projects seamlessly, often sharing glimpses of their family, music, and lifestyle ventures. With Peter confirming major solo projects alongside this potential joint venture, 2026 promises to be a busy and rewarding year for the couple (The Mirror; The Sun).
As the Andre family continues to navigate public attention alongside private ambitions, audiences will be watching closely — whether it’s Peter’s upcoming projects, Emily’s role in the collaboration, or Princess Andre’s journey in the spotlight.
