The Game Calls for Diddy and R. Kelly’s Release at His Birthday Party: ‘Free All the Freaky Homies’

A newly surfaced video of The Game has gone viral, sparking intense debate online after the rapper publicly called for the release of both Sean “Diddy” Combs and R. Kelly during his recent birthday celebration.

The moment took place at The Game’s Hollywood birthday party on Friday, Nov. 28, where the “Hate It Or Love It” artist grabbed the microphone and addressed the crowd directly. Footage shared by TMZ shows the rapper making the controversial remarks as the DJ began playing R. Kelly’s 1993 hit “Bump N’ Grind.”

“Ay, since nobody else gon’ say it,” The Game can be heard saying. “Hey man, free Kells, n***a.” The statement immediately drew attention, as cheers and reactions echoed throughout the room.

The 46-year-old rapper did not stop there. He continued by extending his comments to Diddy as well, doubling down despite the serious nature of the allegations and convictions surrounding both men.

“Free that na. Free Diddy,” he said. “Free all the freaky homies, I don’t give a f. Some baby oil and some pee pee—free the guys. It’s my birthday. I don’t see nothing wrong with freeing the guys.”

The remarks quickly circulated across social media platforms, prompting widespread criticism and discussion, especially given the ongoing legal circumstances involving both figures. Many users expressed shock at the statements, while others debated the responsibility of public figures when addressing such sensitive topics.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal situation remains unclear and continues to generate speculation. His son, King Combs, recently suggested that the Bad Boy Records founder could potentially be home for the holidays, though he offered no concrete details to support the claim. While the White House has denied reports that President Donald Trump was considering commuting Diddy’s sentence, TMZ has stood by its reporting, stating that its information was “accurate.”

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, his official release date is listed as June 4, 2028, following earlier reports that suggested a possible release in May 2028.

In contrast, R. Kelly is facing a significantly longer period behind bars. In June 2022, the former R&B superstar was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty on multiple charges, including racketeering, sexual exploitation of children, forced labor, and numerous violations of the Mann Act. These charges stemmed from years of coercion and abuse involving women and underage girls.

R. Kelly is currently projected to be released in 2045, at which point he will be 79 years old. His conviction remains one of the most high-profile cases in the music industry, marking a dramatic fall from grace for the once-celebrated artist.

The Game’s comments have reignited conversations around celebrity accountability, freedom of speech, and the complex intersection of fame, loyalty, and justice within hip-hop culture.
