Ara Mina denies viral laptop use during 'One More Chance: The Musical'

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ara Mina clarified that it was not her or her companion who was photographed using a laptop while the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) was running the show "One More Chance: The Musical."
During the recent press conference for her upcoming concert "All of Me," Ara said that it was the person in front of her and not them.
"I also saw the laptop. It's the girl in front of me, nakaupo 'yung may-ari ng laptop," she said.
"You know, I have a laptop but it's at home, it's just in the cabinet. She (her companion) doesn't have a laptop either. The girl in front with the laptop is not related to us because she came out, the laptop is ours. ,” she added.
She, however, said that she used her phone while on the musical but just for a few seconds.
"The play is two hours and a half, it's normal for you to watch it too! My husband might say why I'm not answering. Even if I call the entire play, I'll just go out," she said.
"Sometimes we shouldn't immediately judge just for one picture. It's like this, the angle is like, 'Oh! his arm is big, but when you see it in person why is his arm so small?' Because the angle is wrong," she added.
Ara is set to perform in her 30th anniversary concert on July 11 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
