It turns out mosquitoes fear "this" the most. Put this on a lemon and leave it in a corner of the house, and the mosquitoes will be gone forever

You Can Use Lemon to Repel Mosquitoes – Let’s Find Out How

There are many different ways to repel mosquitoes. You can use insect sprays, mosquito coils, or various mosquito-repellent essential oils. In addition, many natural ingredients can help keep mosquitoes out of your home.

Lemon is one of them. You only need a lemon and a few dried cloves to repel mosquitoes safely, without worrying about negative effects on your health. Dried cloves can be purchased at traditional herbal medicine shops, Chinese medicine stores, or places that sell spices and herbs.

Cut the lemon horizontally. Insert several dried cloves into the cut surface of the lemon. The more cloves you use, the stronger the fragrance will be, and the more effective the mosquito-repellent effect.

Place the clove-studded lemon in a corner of the house or in areas where mosquitoes tend to gather, such as the bathroom, dining area, or living room. You can place the lemon on a small plate to make cleanup easier later.

Using Coffee Grounds

If you often drink drip coffee or machine-brewed coffee, you can reuse the leftover coffee grounds to repel mosquitoes. Dry the coffee grounds thoroughly, then light them so they smolder. Use the smoke from the burning coffee grounds to fumigate the house, especially in corners where mosquitoes are most concentrated.

Note: When burning coffee grounds, make sure to open doors or windows to keep the house well ventilated. Also, keep an eye on the coffee grounds while they are burning, as they usually smolder without producing an open flame.

Using Pomelo Peels

You can also use pomelo peels to make a natural mosquito-repellent incense. Simply dry the pomelo peels thoroughly. When needed, take a small piece and light it. Use the fragrance released from the burning peel to fumigate the house. You can burn pomelo peels and place them near doorways, windows, or ventilation openings.

Be sure to place them in well-ventilated areas, avoid closing doors tightly while fumigating, and always ensure that the flame does not spread to nearby objects.

Using Plant-Based Essential Oils to Repel Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes are often repelled by the scents of herbal essential oils. You can use natural essential oils such as lavender oil, lemongrass oil, cajeput oil, cinnamon oil, or peppermint oil to repel mosquitoes. These oils can be used with a diffuser or mixed into water for mopping floors.

In addition, one of the simplest ways to repel mosquitoes is to use medicated oil (such as menthol oil). This is an inexpensive product commonly found in many households. Simply apply a few drops to areas where mosquitoes gather or apply it directly to the skin.

Applying a small amount of medicated oil to a fan can also help disperse the scent more widely, making it easier to repel mosquitoes.
